As our Habitat for Humanity network and communities continue to assist with housing recovery from Hurricane Helene, you’re invited to join us in prayer and action. Across South Carolina, 28 counties sustained significant damage and are continuing to experience recovery hardships.

Habitat affiliates and communities have navigated fallen trees and limbs, power outages, flooding, ReStore/office damage, and destroyed homes. Through our network, Habitat South Carolina and 12 affiliates are actively engaged as a vital collaborative partner in long-term recovery and rebuilding. We are working alongside the South Carolina Office of Resilience and the state’s Housing Recovery Support Function (RSF) to provide over home repairs to over 100 households seeking assistance.

You are invited to make a financial contribution to support Habitat for Humanity affiliates and communities impacted by Hurricane Helene. As of June 2025, the UNMET housing need in SC from the storm remains $1.7 billion. With your help, we can continue to assist more homeowners seeking to recover from the unexpected impacts of Hurricane Helene.
